The hen party is the party weekend to celebrate the end of single life and also to celebrate the fact that you're getting hitched.
The hen party can be either be a hen night ( a night away ) or a hen weekend ( a weekend away ) it is common practise for those wishing to celebrate this occasion with a day or weekend away taking part in some activities and spending some quality time with your good friends before you embark on married life.
