Hen weekends
The hen weekend is an extended hen night, instead of just the Friday night or Saturday night it is most common now to go on a weekend away with your closest friends to send off the lucky friend tying the knot in a few weeks time.
The Hen Weekend gives a chance for everyone to travel to the city and hotel on the Friday night before indulging in some champagne and meeting the friends of the bride you will be celebrating the weekend with. Naturally not all the friends would know each other, as they may come from different parts of the hen's life and there may be some friends of friends at the hen weekend also. So Friday night is a real chance to get to know each other toast the bride to be and go out on the town together to check out what the cities bars and clubs have to offer.
The event usually consists of going to a new city or a city away from home to spend some quality time away from everyday life and relax and just have some good fun with the girls.
