Hens
The hen's responsibility is to provide an excellent hen weekend for the hen (the bride to be) many of the hen's in the group realise that organising the weekend themselves will not allow them to enjoy the weekend too, so most hens decide that they will find a suitable stag and hen company to take over this responsibility.
The choice comes down to the hen to decide are you willing to pay the extra £50 +- per person to go with a more reputable larger organisation, or do you select a small company that does one - five locations and can usually provide your weekend for you at a far lower cost.
The decision lies down to the hens to decide whether they wish to pay an extra £30 -£60 per person to have the experience that comes along with doing 20 + different cities or will they struggle to provide you with the best information on that particular city for the weekend.
The Hen
The hen either passes all the decision making to the maid of honour or best friend but still ultimately agrees all the details with the group, this allows everyone to be happy.
Just like a birthday you don't want to plan your own birthday if possible you'd rather someone did the organising for you, just like the hen party the hen doesn't want to take the lead role in organising her hen weekend and she shouldn't have to.
The hen would have everything organised for her, if there are problems on the hen party weekend this should be resolved by the rest of the group or the main person in the group allowing everybody else to carry on and have fun.
Hence the reason why many organisers pass the buck to a reputable stag and hen company who will resolve any issue on the weekend for you and also do all the preparation for the hen party weekend for you in advance.
Hen
The hen just wants to have a fantastic flawless hen party with all the thrills in tact, and why not it is there special weekend with the girls. The bride to be usually does very little in organising their hen weekend although so hen's prefer to take the lead role in organising their party weekend to make sure everything goes perfectly and they will hire a stag and hen company to assist her in making sure everything comes together perfectly first time for the fantastic hen party weekend.
Hen Night
The hen night is the ultimate day out for any bride to be and should be a smooth running stress free event that is planned very well. The party group will want to enjoy some fantastic daytime activities and one amazing evening activities usually followed by a top nightclub to top everything off.
With many hen night groups wishing to take part in a spa day or any activity and then one evening activity such as:
- Comedy club with a meal
- Themed Boat Party with all inclusive
- Party bus night out on the town
- Floodlit river cruise to a fantastic riverside restaurant
- Wine tasting at a top restaurant
The hen night involves one over night stay at a hotel with checkout the following morning. The hen night can be great if there is a limited budget or not everyone can spare a whole weekend to celebrate, this is the ideal option and allows everyone to have a fantastic party day and night out.
The hen night can seem quite short and it is usually advised by stag and hen companies that a hen weekend is more enjoyable and relaxing as everyone gets a chance to really settle and have a fantastic time.
